Creating Accessible Presentations
One of DLF’s strengths is that our membership and Forums are inclusive sites for exchange. Our members participate in a variety of cultural and disciplinary communities and bring with them to the Forum many different professional and personal experiences and learning styles. To help you effectively engage with this diverse and dynamic community, we offer these practical recommendations for creating accessible online presentations.
In light of the transition of this year’s DLF Forum and affiliated events to a virtual format, members of DLF’s Committee for Equity and Inclusion and Digital Accessibility Working Group have updated and expanded these guidelines to better accommodate this newer format. You can view the recording below.
Thank you to Debbie Krahmer, Sarah Goldstein, Stephanie Rosen, Lydia Tang, Amy Vecchione, and Alex Wermer-Colan for their work updating these guidelines and creating this webinar for 2020, and Carli Spina, Megan Musolff, Chelcie Rowell, and Eleanor Dickson Koehl for creating the original webinar in 2017.
